Beginning Computer

Since 1998 over 500 Beginning Computers have been placed with beginning computer users, developmentally disabled children, seniors, day cares, community spaces and other first time computer users.

Computer Kiosks - Reuse donated computers set up to be placed in public areas to only access community resources on 4People.org with high level security system and maintenance free due to use of Deepfreeze software.

Internet Ready Computer

In January, 2003, the RECA Foundation became a Microsoft Authorized Refurbisher (MAR). Only low-income individuals or families, special needs groups, and non-profits are eligible to obtain an Internet Ready Computer.

The RECA Foundation solicits donations of used computer equipment, refurbishes systems, and provides computers to those in need (low income families, disabled, non-profit organizations, and other "have-nots"). With generous help from the community (financial, online support, and hardware donations), and a cadre of dedicated volunteers, RECA offers two levels of computer workstations that can fill most any household or business need.

We accept Pentium IV 1.2 GHz or better computers, keyboards, mice and speakers.

02/2008 - currently not accepting monitors.

We accept higher level computer equipment, servers, network cards, laptops, memory, HP laser printers to assist our CBPIN non-profit members. Please contact us directly should have questions.

Recycling

For computers, monitors, printers, and electronic accessories that do not fit our reuse needs, please recycle responsibly. Below are some of the environmentally friendly alternatives.
